Our Story
Margaret Ray Interiors, LLC, started by Meg Healy in 2025, is a visionary interior design company focused on creating safe, inclusive spaces for all individuals. Meg analyzes functionality, flexibility, and accessibility to design each space to support your needs. She focuses on the five senses when working through a project to create harmony for adults and children.
After graduating from Elon University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology, Meg worked as a high school special education teacher at Currey Ingram Academy in Brentwood, Tennessee. She mentored students with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, sensory processing disorder, and learning differences, adjusting her classroom space to be an ideal learning center for all students.
Through her experience designing learning spaces to ensure environmental support, Meg found her passion for the intersection between design and neurodiversity. Whether it be with lighting variations, sound masking, sight lines, or more, Meg combs through each detail of a space to ensure that it is designed for your mind.
Who do we serve?
Margaret Ray Interiors specializes in creating supportive, inclusive spaces tailored to the needs of neurodivergent individuals and families.
We believe that environments designed with sensory awareness and accessibility in mind benefit everyone — much like how thoughtful design elements, originally created for accessibility, often improve everyday life for all.
Whether you’re seeking a sensory-considerate home, a more functional family space, or simply a beautiful and balanced environment, we’re excited to help you create a space that feels attuned to the body, the mind, and all five senses.

We’ve got your back.

Maybe you wish your space worked with your daily routine without getting in the way, distracting you, or making too much noise.
Organization and flow are two pillars of our design process, working with your natural patterns rather than fitting you into a box. Your space should assist you and work alongside you, not hinder you or get in your way. -
Do you wish your formal dining room could be flexible, transforming into a functional space for hosting, allowing your children to socialize in a space in which everyone is comfortable?
Or maybe you need the utmost flexibility when it comes to bedrooms and sleeping solutions, ensuring that everyone gets a good night’s rest?Spaces should be flexible, allowing for easy adjustments as life gets hectic or messy. We cater to your current needs while anticipating the next day or chapter. As you and your children grow and evolve, day-to-day or year-to-year, your home should be designed to evolve with you.
